Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Golden Sun (the "Service") is operated by Gademshe Goldensun LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. Contact: support@lightpowr.com.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

3. The Service

Golden Sun provides a daily oracle, journaling, reflections, courses, and related spiritual-wellness content. Content is offered for personal reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional for those needs.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and all activity under it. Keep your credentials confidential. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

5. Membership, billing & free trial

  • Membership is offered on a recurring monthly subscription at the price displayed at checkout (currently $4.99/month USD).
  • A free trial, if offered, lasts for the period stated at checkout (currently 3 days). If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card will be charged automatically and the subscription will renew monthly until canceled.
  • You may cancel anytime from your Profile → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Taxes may apply based on your location and will be calculated at checkout.

6. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. Statutory consumer rights (where applicable) are not affected.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) misuse, reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service; (b) infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; (c) upload unlawful, harassing, or harmful content; (d) attempt to circumvent paywalls, daily pull limits, or security measures.

8. Intellectual property

All cards, artwork, text, audio, video, and software are owned by Gademshe Goldensun LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You receive a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Your journal entries and reflections remain yours.

9. User content

You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to store and display your content solely to operate the Service for you. We do not sell your reflections.

10. Termination & account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletions are scheduled with a 30-day recovery window before permanent removal. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GADEMSHE GOLDENSUN LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
